We are looking for 1 full time Senior Practitioner (37 hours) who has experience in undertaking Special Guardian and Connected Person’s Assessments. The post sits within our Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Teams. The office base will be Sand Martin House in Peterborough.
We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and registered social worker with excellent assessment and critical analysis skills. You will have had some court experience and you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will undertake Special Guardian and Connected Person’s assessments and plans. As a Senior Practitioner you will support the practice of others in the team and support the Service to further it’s development.
You will become part of a very knowledgeable, committed, and supportive team and service. You will be supported by an experienced team manager and have access to excellent training and development opportunities.
There is a requirement to participate in the Foster Carer’s Support Line which is in place out of office hours to provide essential guidance and advice to the Fostering Community in Peterborough. This is currently approximately once every ten weeks but the rota is under review.
Senior Practitioner salary grade will be between £40,578-£44,624
