Further Information
Cambridgeshire and Peterborough children’s services are here to offer safe, stable and loving homes to children and young people in our care and we are committed to increasing the number of in-house Foster Carers so that the children and young people we support can live in their local areas.

We're looking for an exceptional, hands-on and energetic Recruitment Officer to support the recruitment of new Foster Carers.

This is an exciting role, and we need someone who can inspire people to consider fostering and underpin the amazing work that we do within our Fostering services. You'll be the one who can quickly identify and progress people on their journey with us and support them every step of the way.

As an exceptional communicator you'll be familiar with juggling the demands of multiple stakeholders whilst keeping your key tasks on track to meet our expectations. No two days are the same and we have a fantastic team who will support you.

You will need to show us that you can think creatively, that you have the experience needed to establish a quick rapport with the public and of course a passion for getting the best out of each and every person who applies to become a Foster Carer. Some weekend and evening work will be required.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

If you wish to discuss this post please contact Kay Turner Senior Recruitment Officer on 07920 160640 or Anita Hewson Service Manager on 07825 907406.

Interviews to be held 7th December, Scott House. Huntingdon
