Cambridgeshire and Peterborough children’s services are here to offer safe, stable and loving homes to children and young people in our care. We are committed to increasing the number of in-house foster carers so that the children and young people, we support, can live in their local areas.
We're looking for 3 exceptional, hands-on and energetic Recruitment Officers to lead the way and help shape, recruit and assess new foster carers.
This is an exciting new role and we need someone who can inspire people to consider fostering and underpin the amazing work that we do within our fostering services. You'll be the one who can quickly identify, assess and progress people on their journey with us and support them every step of the way.
As an exceptional communicator, you'll be familiar with juggling the demands of multiple stakeholders, whilst keeping your key tasks on track to meet our expectations. No two days are the same and we have a fantastic team who will support you to drive these exciting changes within the service.
You will need to show us that you can think creatively, you have the experience needed to establish a quick rapport with the public that you will be talking to and of course a passion for getting the best out of each and every person who applies to become a foster carer. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
Due to the nature of this role, and the commitment of the Local Authority towards protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, the post will require an enhanced DBS check to be completed.
