Following the promotion of the current Fostering Panel Adviser we are looking to find a qualified social worker with a commitment and passion for supporting foster families and the children in their care.

You will be part of the Fostering Household Review & Practice Standards Team. Your role will be to advise, monitor and report on fostering practice; supporting the service to meet its statutory obligations. If you are an excellent communicator, have in depth knowledge of fostering legislation and regulations, proven experience of interagency multi-disciplinary work and can motivate yourself and your team, then we would love to hear from you.

You will need to have a social work qualification and a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience (including 2 years recent experience of fostering social work). The Fostering Household Review & Practice Standards Team is responsible for all fostering panel functions as well as completing independent reviews of foster carers and providing the learning and development of foster families.
