About the role

In this role you wilk work with families and children aged 0-19 to support with early intervention work linking families to support through the family hubs programme.

You will deliver in groups or one to one evidence based parenting interventions that support parents.

 You will also work closely with our partners in the programme, in community and clinical settings, to pick up families need from conception and support them to access antenatal and postnatal services delivered in the Peterborough area .

You will hold low level case loads supporting with EHA's and planning to support a strengths based approach for families to improve their outcomes. 

This is a one year fixed term contract

All about The Family hubs programme

The family hubs programme provides support to families with children aged 0-19 or up to 25 if SEND, the programme aims to give every child the best start to life and focuses primarily on the delivery of services from conception to primary school, and includes collaboration with services that work with families with older children up until adulthood.

All about you

You wil have.. 
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of child development, and knowledge of parenting skills.    
  • Understanding of the impact of inequality and deprivation on outcomes  
  • Knowledge of special educational needs & disability  
  • Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate effective interventions.  
  • Experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and families in the public, private or voluntary sector
