An exciting opportunity has arisen to develop the role of the Education Navigator within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
The MASH has an important role in looking at unclear referrals to decide on the most appropriate response by taking into account all information from partner agencies.
With due regard to confidentiality, the post holder is responsible for analysing and sharing information gathered from schools and settings that is necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of child/ren and young people.
The post is FTE, term time only.
The role includes the following:
• To respond to all referrals to MASH that require additional Education information.
• To obtain, analyse and feedback Education information within a specified and agreed timeframe.
• Ensure that clear, relevant and accurate information is recorded.
• Work in partnership with internal and external partners to improve collaboration, coordination and support within a multi-agency environment
