The successful applicant will need to have a thorough understanding of the Early Help Assessment framework process (previously known as CAF) and how this can be used to improve outcomes for children and families. They will need to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills to ensure positive productive partnership working.

The post holder will be required to provide direct support at complex TAC meetings and provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues in the field.

The successful applicant will be required to engage in all aspects of the work of the Early Help team including supporting de-escalations from Children’s Social Care, provide training to professionals, promote the use of eCAF (online case management system), and identify and promote ways of improving outcomes for families and children through the Early Help/TAC process.

The post holder may be required on occasions to liaise / work directly with families in fulfilling the duties of their post.
