The successful applicant will need to have a thorough understanding of the Early Help Assessment framework process and how it is used to support children and families to improve outcomes.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure positive, productive partnership working.
The post holder will be responsible for processing contacts into Children’s Social Care not meeting threshold, to ensure timely support for families at risk.
The successful applicant will need to be familiar with using a variety of online systems.
The post holder will be an integral part of the wider Early Help (Targeted Support) Service in Peterborough.
Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
