We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough for a multi skilled tutor to become a key member of our ESOL English and Math’s department.

As a tutor in ESOL you will play a pivotal role in the success for our learners.
This exciting role will involve you to plan and deliver Esol courses across a range of levels in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner, supporting learners achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment. You will need to be experienced, self-motivated and a confident tutor to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our study programme provision, on a part time term time only basis (17.5 hours per week.

The ability to plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to all learners across City College Peterborough is paramount. All the staff are dedicated to education, training, skills whilst putting people first. People are at the heart of everything we do.

The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position.
The successful candidate will need to have experience in delivering ESOL in a Further Education setting. A recognised teaching qualification or relevant recent industry experience.

Whilst we continue to welcome applications from experienced teaching professionals, teaching experience is not essential. We will be delighted to support your professional development of individuals who are passionate about the Industry, have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to join the education profession.

• Monitor, support and record learner progress
• Provide innovative and stimulating training
• Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
