Job Summary
City College Peterborough is seeking a dynamic and talented Drawing and Painting Art Teacher to join our vibrant and creative team. As a dedicated educational institution committed to fostering artistic expression and skill development, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to inspire and guide our students in the realm of visual arts.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality and interactive lessons, providing hands-on guidance to students in the creation of art using various mediums.

Offer constructive feedback on students' work, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages artistic growth.

Maintain a well-organised and stimulating learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Keep abreast of developments in the art world, incorporating relevant trends and techniques into the curriculum to ensure students are exposed to contemporary artistic practices.

Provide additional support to students as needed, including one-on-one assistance and guidance for those requiring extra attention.

Requirements
Experience in monitoring and supporting learner progress to enable students develop their artistic potential.

Teaching experience in drawing and painting.

Strong portfolio of personal artwork demonstrating proficiency in various drawing and painting techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
