This is an exciting opportunity to working closely with the DASV Partnership Team where you will assist in the embedding of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 into everyday working practises, improving the response to domestic abuse for those living in the City.

You will be responsible for ensuring Council services meet duties in relation to the Act and there is an effective response to staff, residents and our communities who are at risk of or who are experiencing Domestic Abuse. The role will focus on education, awareness raising and early intervention working primarily towards prevention and protection.

You will have experience of the Domestic Abuse agenda with an ability to progress a range of issues to different audiences.

You will work with relevant partners as well as internal services to ensure that the White Ribbon Action Plan is developed across the city.

This is a full time post but part-time and or job-share applications will be considered. This post is fixed term for 18 months.

Interviews will be held on 16th August.
