City College Peterborough is recruiting an experienced Digital Marketing Officer to join a newly-created communications and marketing team, responsible for raising the profile of the City College and City Culture (part of the College’s charitable foundation) by building on and promoting their success.
This new and exciting role will support the Communications and Marketing Manager and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility by adapting to a frequently changing work environment and priorities.
You will be an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, creative and inspiring member of the team, brimming with ideas and enthusiasm and the go-to for anything digital.
The main focus of the role is a digital specialism for the college but the successful candidate will also need to take a responsibility for general marketing of the college and, when required, for City Culture Peterborough, contributing to the delivery of their respective marketing strategies.
Requirements and responsibilities:
• Demonstrable experience of working within a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders and different needs.

• Managing the college’s digital communications channels including website and associated microsites, social media platforms, video production, design of digital collateral, email campaigns and e-newsletters.

• Fluent in social media advertising and campaign creation and tracking.

• Proven experience in creating, launching and monitoring campaigns to ensure success and accurately monitor, measure, report on and present results.

• Interpreting and analysing website and social media statistics to measure return on investment to present on traction and trends.

• Building and overseeing social media communities, responding to individual comments, encouraging conversations and applying social listening.

• Creating, updating and adding content to the website and associated microsites.

• Creating video for social media, partner and event usage.

• Designing digital banners, social media adverts and printed collateral such as posters and fliers.
