Peterborough City Council would like a number of people to join an existing team of cycle trainers. You will be trained to the Bikeability standard to deliver National Standard cycle training to year 6, 7 and 8 pupils across Peterborough.

Bikeability is the Cycling Proficiency Test for the 21st century, designed to give the next generation the skills and confidence to ride their bikes on today’s roads.

Successful applicants will receive full training in Level 1 (basic skills off-road course) and Level 2 (on-road cycle training) course in return for a basic commitment to deliver National Standard cycle training.

Applicants must be available for a four day training course.

Applicants must be confident cyclists and have a desire to enthuse the next generation about cycling.
