PART-TIME SESSIONAL TUTOR IN COUNSELLING
Tutor and Assessor Rate 20-30
£18.95 - £25.47 per hour plus holiday pay (hourly rate dependent on level of qualification)
City College Peterborough is seeking a talented, qualified, and experienced Counselling Level 4 tutor to take a creative lead in the planning, delivery and quality of these programmes to adults aged 19+.
Applicants need to have the following qualifications and experience:
• Hold a 420-hour therapeutic counselling qualification at level 4 or above (e.g. TCL4)
• 10 hours of personal therapy
• Be a member of a professional association of counselling or psychotherapy (i.e. BACP)
• Be able to evidence CPD, a minimum of 30 hours annually, and committed to continuing professional development.
• Current practitioner with 2 years supervised counselling practice or minimum 450 counselling hours
• Supervision qualification or 1 years experience of providing supervision to groups or individuals in a counselling setting
• Hold a minimum of a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or be working towards this or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Have at least two years teaching and assessing at Level 2 and 3 or above
• Be willing to work with co-tutors and within the wider tutor team.
• Be available to attend termly / quarterly team meetings outside teaching hours.
• Demonstrate a passion for developing students and the counselling profession.
