Further Information
You will need detailed practical and procedural knowledge to investigate those deaths which fall under the remit of HM Coroner. This will include the collation of witness and other information to enable HM Coroner to make decisions and discharge his statutory duties.
You will possess highly developed interpersonal skills in order to meet the challenging needs of this position and be able to make sound judgements in an extremely sensitive area.
The ability to be professionally dissociated from the emotional aspects of dealing with death on a daily basis is also an essential requirement of this role.
