We are looking for an experienced, motivated lawyer to work on a range of procurements, contracts, and commercial matters as part of the in-house Contracts Team within Legal Services. We provide a service to our internal clients at PCC and externally to other Local Authorities.
You will, advise on procurements, draft tender documentation, contracts and other commercial documents, and advise on commercial law and projects, and deal with internal Governance issues as appropriate. The role will also include line management responsibilities for (x number) of junior lawyers within the team.
You should be a confident, skilled and enthusiastic lawyer with a “can do” commercial approach. You must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister holding a current practising certificate, or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent.
