Peterborough City Council is currently recruiting for a Contact Centre Manager for the Supervised Contact Centre in Welland.

The successful candidate will:

• manage a well-established team who are knowledgeable in delivering a
good service to children who need to see their parents safely and in a
supervised setting
• oversee the supervising contact officers, making sure their work meets the
required standards of written work for court proceedings y
• have a sound knowledge of child care, their development, safeguarding,
health and safety
• be up to date with research on changes in expectations of listening to
children
• be able to demonstrate excellent sensitive, interpersonal skills and the
importance of confidentiality
• be able to evidence experience of working with children and families
