Further information

Working within the Statutory Assessment & Monitoring Service, you will undertake the service response and coordination of case resolution, including mediation and SEN & Disability Tribunal appeals. You will also be also responsible for a defined caseload, ensuring that children and young people known to SEN & Inclusion Services have appropriate support, resources and placements in school/settings to enable them to achieve positive learning and developmental outcomes.

You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to under pressure. In addition to this, you will have excellent oral communication and written skills. You will line manage one member of staff, who will support you in your role.

You will require a sound working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Part 3 of the Children & Families Act 2014, be highly organised, able to work to deadlines and under pressure with a flexible approach.
