There is an exciting opportunity to join the Children’s Commissioning Team as a Commissioning Officer, supporting the commissioning of services for children, young people and families in Peterborough.

This is an exciting time for the Commissioning Directorate in Peterborough where we have the rare opportunity to establish the service in a new and innovative manner. In light of the ending of shared services we are establishing our workforce; this is the time to help shape and grow the directorate and support Peterborough to be the best it can.
The Commissioning Officer will support the delivery of commissioning strategic priorities and commissioning intentions.

This role will include the commissioning, contract monitoring and quality assurance of services, improving the outcomes of children, young people and families, particularly children and young people in care.
