This in an exciting opportunity to join the Transport and Environment Team who are working towards reducing Peterborough’s carbon emissions to net-zero by 2030 following its declaration of a climate emergency.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for environmental issues who is eager to work with schools and young people to raise awareness of and deliver tangible projects to reduce carbon emissions.

To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have knowledge of environmental matters and issues, specifically relating to energy, sustainability and Climate Change alongside awareness of the National Curriculum specifically in relation to the environment and sustainability. You should have experience of engaging and communicating with a variety of stakeholders with the ability to increase understanding whilst gaining buy-in and support.
