We are looking to recruit a conscientious and motivated individual to join our busy Client Income Team. The successful applicant will be required to manage, account for, and safeguard the finances of vulnerable adults for whom the council acts as Corporate Appointee or Deputy via the Court of Protection.
They must therefore be able to confidently communicate and liaise with a range of individuals and organisations, accurately manage a range of financial data transactions and deal with sensitive situations in a tactful and helpful way. They will need to be able to prioritise and plan their own workload, be numerate and accurate, work well as part of a team, have effective verbal and written skills, and have good problem solving and decision-making skills.
We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
