At Clare Lodge we provide care and education for young women of 10 - 17 years of age, who may have extensive histories of abuse and sexual exploitation, poor attachments, drug and alcohol misuse, mental health issues and self-harm.
During their time with us they attend school at our own on-site specialist, fully equipped education facility, offering a full range of subjects and qualifications appropriate to individual need. What we’re looking for
• A Qualified Teacher (Primary or Secondary) with a particular interest in students with Special Educational Needs, including those with attachment disorders and other learning and
behavioural difficulties.
• A Teacher who can teach English to GCSE and the ability to teach other subjects as required (please specify experience
on your covering letter).
• A candidate who can form good relationships with young people.
• A flexible approach to working with others.
• A caring professional who values the development of the whole child and has a passionate belief in the potential of young people.

The post is suitable for Teachers qualified in primary or secondary and applications from all subject specialists are welcome. Experience in special needs is not essential as training is provided. Lessons are typically for up to four students with support from a teaching assistant.
The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
