We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and committed person to join the Early Help Service as a Direct Intervention worker.

Direct Intervention workers work with families and other partners to assess, provide and co-ordinate interventions with children and young people aged 0-19 years who have been identified as needing targeted support. We facilitate and deliver support through in-person, face to face meetings in the family home and some early morning or tea time visits may be required. Our goal is to improve parental capacity and family relationships, ultimately improving outcomes for children and their families.

The successful candidate should have:

• Knowledge and understanding of the Early help agenda
• Experience of direct working with Children and Families.
• Experience of delivering Evidenced Based Parenting Programmes such as Webster
Stratton and Triple P (would be an advantage)
• Completing Early Help Assessments.
