All about the Role

We have 2 exciting opportunities to join the Children’s Commissioning Team as a Commissioning Officer, supporting the commissioning of services for children, young people and families in Peterborough.  
 
One role is a full-time permanent post and the other is a fixed term post, until 30th September 2026. Feel free to specify on you application which role you are interested in and we will do our best to match you with your preference.

This is an exciting time for the Commissioning Directorate in Peterborough; developing the service, with a focus on innovation and shaping services to respond to need, thereby supporting Peterborough to be the best it can. 
 
The Commissioning Officer will support the delivery of commissioning strategic priorities and commissioning intentions in relation to universal services for children & young people and specialist services for children & young people with special educational needs & disabilities. 
 
This role will include the commissioning, contract monitoring and quality assurance of services, improving the outcomes of children, young people and families. 

This is a rolling campaign so we will look at applications as they come in. We will close the vacancy when we find a suitable candidate.
