We are seeking a dynamic Chef for the College coffee shop and the extended College catering services. You will support the catering supervisor to develop and operate a friendly, efficient and high quality hospitality and social dining service to City College Peterborough staff, learners, customers and clients at City College Peterborough and other venues as required. You will establish effective working relationships with learners and engage with them through providing innovative and stimulating lessons. You will also assess, monitor, support and record learner progress.
You will need to work as part of a team to achieve timely results. You will have had previous ordering, accounting, and maintaining of food stocks experience, you will also be required to work within a set budget. You will need to demonstrate culinary flair, and imagination across the range of catering services, have experience of corporate event catering, front of house hospitality, plus vending services.
You must be passionate about food and be customer service focused, and you need to possess excellent organisational and administrative skills.
We are proud to maintain a five star food hygiene rating from the local authority.
