As a Case Manager, you will:
  • You will take case responsibility for young people placed at Clare Lodge ensuring the young people’s complex needs are met through case planning processes in a multidisciplinary way.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a group of Team Leaders and Residential Care Workers.
  • Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and be part of the Duty Manager rota, including being on call.
  • Support your staff team with training, supervision, and professional development Recruit and select new employees and assess their performance.
  • Ensure that the voice of the child is heard and respected in the service delivery.
  • Adhere to and implement the relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of the service.
  •  Undertake relevant training and qualifications as required.
  • Immersing the home in a culture of positivity and transparency.
  • Be child focused, achieving positive outcomes for young people and ensuring the delivery of outstanding care.
  • Set up processes for safeguarding and the management of the day-day operation of the home, contributing to developing and building well-established principles and practice standards for the home and proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of the young people’s lives. 
You will have knowledge and experience:
  • Leadership and management experience in a Children’s Services role, ideally in children’s residential care.
  • Significant experience of delivering high quality and child focused support.
  • Have strong knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislation including The Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000 and Children’s Home (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or a qualification in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  A full driving licence.
