Our transformation and improvement journey's first phase has already seen significant success, and the Council, under the direction of a new Management Team, is currently making plans for what comes next.
We are now ready to form a new, talented, innovative, and professional team who will support the organisation at this exciting time.
Sitting at the centre, the Corporate Delivery Unit provides transformation support across the whole organisation and acts as the engine room for driving and coordinating of the Council’s change and improvement aspirations to ensure the delivery of against our ambitions and strategic objectives.
We are looking to recruit four Portfolio Managers who will come with an excellent understanding of programme management, service review mechanisms, a skill-set including creativity, research design, analytical and excellent organisational skills.
Each Portfolio Manager will be the primary interface between our Priority Portfolios (Economy and Inclusive Growth, Sustainable Future City Council, Prevention Independence & Resilience and Our Places & Communities) and the CDU.
Working closely with Portfolio Sponsors, Services and Delivery Teams, you will play a key role in providing support across a range of transformation disciplines and will the provide tools and guidance across key programmes of change to maximise value and enable a consistent approach to reporting progress and assurance.
