Further Information
We are looking for a qualified person with a strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, a Best Interest Assessor qualification and experience of assessing individuals in hospitals and Registered Care Homes.
You must be able to use initiative and work with complex cases, have a good understanding of current law around Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and good record writing skills and be competent with IT.
You will be required to work in a timely manner with individuals deemed to lack capacity, family members, other professionals and colleagues and contribute effectively to our team. You must be knowledgeable about safeguarding issues and working with vulnerable people.
