An opportunity has arisen to appoint a P/T Bereavement Officer – Crematorium at Peterborough Crematorium which is owned and operated by Peterborough City Council.

We are looking for a person to be part of a small team providing the highest level of customer service to bereaved families, visitors and stakeholders alike.

The main duties and responsibilities of the post include liaising with funeral directors, officiants, and families to ensure that the administration of the crematorium service is handled accurately and effectively.

The successful person will need to be well presented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have a highly flexible and organised approach for the role at hand. You will be a great team player and have experience of good customer care in a front-line role. Significant attention to detail, coupled with an ability to work with minimal supervision is key, whilst confidence and good general
experience with IT equipment and software would be a distinct advantage.
