We are looking to appoint a committed and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our established Autism Team, which is an integral part of the Peterborough SEN & Inclusion Service.
This new exciting role is to support young people transition to Post 16 and into work, therefore the post holder will work across our secondary schools and FE colleges. We are a centrally based team who support children, young people, schools and families within Peterborough.
The role will suit an energetic and dedicated practitioner who is looking to make a difference to the lives of young people with Autism, as well as furthering their own professional development.
We welcome applications from qualified and experienced support personnel, such as teaching assistants; family support workers; inclusion & intervention workers; pastoral staff with Early Years, Primary or Secondary school experience, as well as those who have experience of working with Child /Young Person (CYP) with Autism in other fields.
The successful candidate will need to hold a full driving licence, have access to a car and be a flexible and adaptable team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
