The post holder will be deputy for the Community Cohesion Manager with responsibility to work with faith groups and partner agencies in promotion of the cohesion strategy in Peteborough.

The post involves working closely with Tension Monitoring Group with a view to prevent or diffuse any community tensions in the city.

In addition, the post holder will be working in partnership with all faith groups and service providers to promote closer collaboration to tackle social challenges in the city.

The post holder will need to have comprehensive knowledge of the faith groups in Peterborough and a proven ability to produce strategic and operational plans to promote cohesion in public, private or civil sector environment.

The post requires highest degree of political and equality sensitivity, excellent negotiation skills as well as ability to produce high standards of written work with capability to analyse and present data as evidence for strategic plans.
