Peterborough City Council are looking for someone who is a good problem solver with an eye for detail. The successful applicant will have great communication skills, and be able to manage competing priorities. You will have experience in some of these areas: project management, ICT systems administrator, problem solving, process reviews, GIS data capture and maybe even a basic level of SQL.
You will perform day to day data capture to add or update records and system administration to keep our Confirm system running well. There will also be times when you will be the lead officer organising system updates, migrating data and setting up new configurations.
The role is working within Peterborough Highway Services so a knowledge of Highways assets would be an advantage, but not essential if you’re a quick learner with attention to detail. You will be performing at the heart of the service and have a positive impact on most of our officers as well as our customers. A good knowledge of the Peterborough road network would be an advantage.
Training in specific systems will be provided to the right person with the skills needed.
