The combined School Governance Team of Peterborough and Cambridgeshire seeks to appoint an Area Lead Governance Advisor for Peterborough and Fenland.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a newly formed team to support, guide and challenge school Governing Bodies and governors to undertake their roles effectively and in turn drive improvements in the overall effectiveness of schools. The role will also include responsibilities for line managing Service Clerks across Peterborough and Fenland.
You will join a team of three Area Lead Governance Advisors, working across designated geographical areas covering Peterborough and Cambridgeshire, being led by the recently appointed Strategic Lead for Governance. Some aspects of work and travel will be required across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to promote effective working across the team.
The School Governance Team forms an important part of a wider team focused on school improvement in both Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. The wider team shares an aim of making a significant contribution to helping improve educational outcomes in both Local Authorities.
