Further Information
We are looking for motivated and forward thinking social workers to join us in Peterborough to drive the progress we have made over recent years and to deliver innovative services to our children, young adults and their families that makes a difference to them.

You will find we have a huge commitment to providing staff with exceptional levels of support which includes working hard to reduce caseloads, and offering both managers and practitioners the opportunities to develop as practitioners, recognised by Ofsted in July who found "

Social workers have access to a range of training, including opportunities to progress as practice educators. They have time to spend with children, their visits are purposeful, and they capture children?s views about their lived experience. Social workers told inspectors that Peterborough is a great place to work."

The 0-25 service specifically provides services to children and young people with disabilities from age 0-25 and is part of Adult Social Care Directorate. The team is led by two team managers with one leading on Children’s activity and one on transitions/ preparation from adulthood activity.
The 0-25 disability service is offering an exciting opportunity for social workers to join the service, supporting young people and their families with disabilities.
