How to increase the font size on this website (and most others)
Depending on which web browser you are using, follow the applicable instructions below. The instructions may also work with other versions of the same web browser.

Internet Explorer
  • Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked 'View'
  • A list of options will appear in the drop down menu - choose text size
  • Next another drop down menu should appear with options of smallest, smaller, medium, larger, largest
  • Select large or largest
  • The text in your browser window should now appear larger

Screen magnification

Internet Explorer
  • Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked 'View'
  • A list of options will appear in the drop down menu - choose Zoom
  • Next another drop down menu should appear with options of zoom in; zoom out; or a specific magnification

Firefox 3
  • Choose the drop down menu at the top of the window of the browser marked 'View'
  • A list of options will appear in the drop down menu - choose 'zoom' and then 'zoom in'
  • The text in your browser window should now appear larger
If you change the settings and find that this does not magnify the text enough to be useful, then it is worth investigating screen magnification software.
Screen magnification can magnify up to 16 times. Products vary depending on features, such as whether speech support is built into the program. Some of the more popular products include Lunar, MAGic and Zoomtext.
