All about the Role
They key elements of the role are as follows:

Procurement support
: Help with sourcing and managing small procurements.
 
P2P process: Assist with verifying and onboarding suppliers.
 
Procurement Systems: Manage and update the e-sourcing system and contracts register and ERP System.
 
Governance: Oversee the governance process and data on exemptions and contract awards

Process improvement: Use a variety of techniques to improve processes. 

All about You
We are looking for someone who has some procurement experience ideally within public sector procurement. Ideally you will be working towards your CIPS qualification and will have a good level of tactical (operational) buying experience.

You should also have analytical skills, be able to work with data to present information to stakeholders and peers for example analysing the cost breakdown of goods and services. 

Naturally confident, you will be able to negotiate successfully with all stakeholders and have the gravitas to build solid relationships to leverage supplier capability. It is important that you can get the best out of practices and processes and are not afraid to challenge the status quo.
