Further Information
Do you want to be an Occupational Therapist who can witness the impact of your interventions? To see someone’s progress from beginning to end?

Join our enthusiastic and supportive team and help make a difference.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is competent and above all, confident in their own abilities to provide high quality, person centred, assessments, interventions and advice; to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the people of Peterborough.

In return, you will join a team that does their absolute best to work for you. That means flexible working options, plus no weekends or bank holidays.

Some of our OT’s prefer to type up their reports at home – that’s fine too!

We believe that one of the things that sets us apart is our team itself. We are approachable and compassionate, and we are making a big impact in our community

Megan started her career at PCC 14 years ago and is now Deputy Therapy Services Manager and TEC Lead. She said:

“Our team values mutual respect and trust, and we are given the autonomy to manage our own caseloads and act in the best interests of our clients, their independence and wellbeing.

“There is always a member of the team available to answer questions and support clinical decision making when needed”

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a range of areas, such as long-term conditions, falls prevention, equipment and adaptations, moving and handling, technology enabled care, and complex case management. You will also have access to regular supervision, training and career progression opportunities. Every day can look different for you.

One thing stays the same though – the impact you will make in the community we serve together.

If you’re an experienced OT ready to join an environment that values career progression, we would love to hear from you. Click apply and we promise to respond quickly once shortlisting has completed.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Peterborough and want our workforce to reflect this diversity, which we believe is beneficial for our employees, the organisation and the communities we serve.
