Join us at Peterborough City Council for an exciting opportunity as a Principal Development Surveyor. With a competitive salary of up to £63,754, plus a generous pension and benefits package this role offers a chance to make a real difference in our vibrant community.
Are you a proactive and successful development surveyor with a passion for driving positive change? We're seeking candidates with a proven track record in delivering complex development projects and strategic asset programs within the public sector or regeneration sector. As part of our forward-thinking team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Peterborough.
With a range of development zones and opportunities, we're committed to inclusive and sustainable growth, working closely with our city partners and communities.
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of development projects, strategic disposals, and acquisitions. Working within our Strategic Assets team, you'll contribute to the development and implementation of asset strategies that drive regeneration and growth in our city.
We're looking for candidates who hold an MRICS qualification and have strong negotiation skills, along with excellent stakeholder communication abilities. With a focus on managing budgets, people, and processes, you'll need strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
At Peterborough City Council, we value enthusiasm, flexibility, and teamwork. You'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment balancing office-based work with remote tasks and site visits as required.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of an innovative team dedicated to making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
