About the role

Calling all experienced Social Work Senior Practitioners and Managers! Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Social Care Team Manager to join our Targeted Youth Support Service.

The highly skilled and dedicated team are aligned with the Youth Justice Service (YJS) and Exploitation Team and work alongside police officers, health workers, psychologists, education workers, substance misuse workers, and many other children’s services professionals.

The team deliver work in a trauma informed and child first way, having regular reflective practice sessions to support you and allow time to consider interventions and approaches. You will be part of a valued team that ensures practitioners are able to deliver effective interventions that make a difference for young people and their families, in all aspects of their lives. Contextual safeguarding and reducing the risk of extra familial harm is at the centre of all our practice.

About you

We're looking for a confident and dynamic manager who is curious, enjoys building relationships, achieves best outcomes for children young people and families, and makes a difference in their local community. The post holder will have strong experience in Social Work and will be registered with Social Work England.
