We have an exciting vacancy in our Practice Standards and Quality Team for a full time (37 hours) and a part time (22.2 hours) Senior Social Worker to join us. In this post you will have the opportunity to work across the whole service working with every part of Peterborough City Council’s adult social care.

We are looking for individuals, who are creative in thinking about how we deliver the best service to our communities and support our frontline staff in their roles and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to be involved at every level of adult social care operational team and work with shared teams including our learning and development, customer care team and business intelligence.

You will carry out our quality assurance function, auditing practice, celebrating good practice and implementing improvements where required. This can include working with individual service areas, mentoring teams and supporting our Principal Social Worker (PSW) with workshops covering systemic improvements.

The team are responsible for all practice facing guidance giving the opportunity to research current best practice and legal case law to ensure we have the most up to date information available for practitioners.

The part time post is 22.2 hours
Full Time Post is 37 hours
