Peterborough City Council are looking to recruit a Head of Compliance and Facilities Management to lead a small in house ‘client side’ team responsible for the commissioning and service delivery of FM and Compliance activities across a small number of key service providers.

The Council has a varied stock of properties ranging from some of the newest buildings in the City to some of the oldest. Our portfolio comprises several hundred properties, offices, land, depots, car parks, community assets etc.

The head of service will provide strategic leadership and direction for the team managing service delivery and will report to the Service Director for Commercial, Property and Asset Management.

We are looking for a candidate with the required technical expertise along with a strong track record of managing the service delivery of FM and Compliance matters across a varied estate (ideally in the public sector), someone with strong stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to manage budgets, people and processes.

The role will be located from our main offices in the City Centre, but we operate a hybrid approach and you will find yourself working from home, the office and other sites on a regular basis. Don’t expect two days to be the same!

Salary details:
£62,094 - £75,465 per annum
