Peterborough City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Building Control professional looking to further progress their career. The Building Control department is looking for a Building Control professional to help further progress the department, bringing new ideas as well as implementing new and innovative ways of working.
The role will involve supporting the Building Control Manager and Principal in our small, but busy Building Control team to operate the service and maintain our high standards of service delivery and customer care. In addition to day-to-day management duties, as a Senior Building Control Surveyor you will also work with colleagues to mentor and support the less experienced surveyors.

We are looking for a surveyor with experience in building control, who is willing to take on some extra responsibilities and who is looking to progress further. You will be expected to be able to work under their own initiative as well as part of a team, in providing the best possible service.
