Peterborough Corporate Parenting service is innovative in its vision for care leavers. With this in mind, we have created an additional post, to support the wider team and have a more focused approach with care leavers from diverse backgrounds. For this role, we are looking for someone with prior experience of working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People.
The post offer the successful candidate the opportunity to build upon their personal and professional expertise to promote positive outcomes for care leavers, by working as part of a stable and well established workforce, partners and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:
• Experience of working with young people.
• Knowledge and a good understanding of the challenges facing Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking young people.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of leading change within an organisation
• High motivation, energy and personal drive, resilient and demonstrating highly developed emotional intelligence and self-awareness
