GCSE Maths Tutor
We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough for a Multi-Skilled Math’s Tutor to become a key member of our Study Skills department. As a tutor in maths, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our learners. This exciting role will involve you to plan and deliver maths courses across a range of levels in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner, supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a positive and engaging learning environment. You need to be an experienced, self-motivated, and confident tutor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning within our study programme provision, on a full-time basis (37 hours per week).
The ability to plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to all students at city college Peterborough is paramount. All the staff are dedicated to education, training, skills, and putting people first. People are at the heart of everything we do. The job role will also include contributing to the continued development of the Department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position. The successful candidate will need to be qualified in maths. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced criminal records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The successful candidate will be required to:

? Multi- skilled teaching ability
? Establish effective working relationships with young people
? Monitor, support and record learner progress
? Provide innovative and stimulating training
? Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
