An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information and Advice Officer who is looking to work within the Exploitation and Missing Team in Peterborough. We are launching a partnership Contextual Safeguarding Approach and you can join us on this journey. The role will be based within a multi-agency team of professionals working alongside social workers, police officers, psychologist, health workers and youth justice officer and many others using a trauma informed approach.

The post offers the chance to contribute to high quality service delivery, further develop strong partnership/cross service working and in collaboration with partnership agencies. We have excellent office facilities and have adapted a hybrid model of agile, flexible working, including both home and office working.

About the role:

You will manage a caseload of contacts and information requests, processing them efficiently and safely to the relevant service or more appropriate resource to meet the identified needs.

The job will involve gathering vital information, co-ordinating complex meetings, contributing to risk decision-making and the exercise of a level of judgement and personal responsibility for the safety of children, appropriately supervised.

You will have great verbal and written skills, enjoy working with the public and are inspired by helping others.
