Would you like to help prevent people from becoming homeless in Peterborough?

We have a new opportunity to join the Housing Needs team at Peterborough City Council as a Pathway Officer. The role will be based within the Pathway team, and you will work with clients and partners to relieve homelessness. Taking a proactive and collaborative approach you will be confident in matching households to temporary and permanent accommodation solutions.

You will have experience of working with persons who find themselves at risk of homelessness within the statutory guidelines and will be able to utilise your knowledge and available accommodation solutions to achieve a positive outcome.

The role will bring you into contact with customers with a range of needs. The successful applicant will be required to work closely with support services and other members of the housing needs team. Therefore, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and a willingness to assist those who need your help.
